I have worked in a variety of settings from long term care to hospice to correctional care, as well as acute inpatient and outpatient clinic settings.  

I became a nurse practitioner after feeling unfulfilled working at the bedside and seeing decisions made by those not closest to the patient.  The only way I felt I could better advocate and see that the patient’s decisions were being honored was to go back to school and obtain the certification necessary.  I love being able to take people in various aspects of life and helping them to achieve their goals.

I hold certifications in family medicine, wound care, excisional debridement, as well as neurotoxin administration.

I have a post master’s certificate as a family nurse practitioner from Herzing University  as well as a master’s degree from Western Governor’s University.  I attended nursing school at Arapahoe Community College. 

I worked for 12 years at Denver Health on a trauma surgical floor, eating disorders and bariatric care.  After graduation, I went to work in a rural setting in La Junta at an outpatient clinic providing primary care, urgent care as well as oversight of the emergency room.  I loved having the ability to bring healthcare to the rural population, making it accessible to all.  

Elevated Wellness came to fruition December 2022 and has flourished ever since.  I look foward to serving you.
